A visit to El Taco Veloz for breakfast!
Let me start by staying El Taco Veloz is my absolute favorite taco spot in Georgia! I have been several times especially to the location on buford hwy. Generally I eat lunch or dinner there and the tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are by far superior to many mexican restaurants in Atlanta! They are so good Anthony Bourdain did a show there and gave it his stamp of approval! For me its one of the best hole in a wall locations in atl and even has a drive thru at its many locations. Today I had the day off so I decided to try out the breafast menu there for the first time. I ordered the chorizo eggs, rice, beans and a friend ordered a burrito with huevos and carne asada! The price we paid was very inexpensive as usual and theres is a pic in the blog to prove that. Best bang for your buck and the closest authentic mexican tacos I’ve seen in the states besides California! My eggs were perpared well done which is different for me but the chorizo with them gave it so much flavor. So maybe in that case I can eat well done eggs…lol! The corn tortillas were so fresh and soft! My rice and beans there were so good and my friends burritto was gone in say maybe 3mins so we gave them 3 thumbs up! Stop by and try them out you wont regret it I know I haven’t yet!
